In honour of Valentine’s Day, I started looking into Victorian courting traditions which led to falling down a bit of a rabbit hole.

Assemblies in the Georgian period were where polite society (read as: wealthy people) met, danced, played cards and drank tea.

Recently I was gifted a box of vintage sewing items, and as I was unpacking it I thought that I might as well share the finds with you too!
